LEVEL OF TRAFFIC STRESS AND STRESS-ADJUSTED ACCESSIBILITY SHEDS

PROFESSIONAL PROJECTS - 2023/2024

For several different projects, I built and ran analysis models to determine relative levels of traffic stress (LTS) for bikes and pedestrians on each segment of a given city’s street network. At times the scope of these projects also included calculating bike and walksheds adjusted for stress levels (determining ‘perceived distance’). For a particular project in LA, I calculated the anticipated future LTS network based on proposed regional bikeways and documented the likely change in network accessibility.
