ACADEMIC PROJECT - 2023

Comics have a unique ability to engage audiences in a fun and creative way while delivering essential or meaningful messages. I took a comic-making class in order to explore the potential of this medium to inspire people to think differently about alternative modes of transportation. This series of comics delves into both my professional role as an urban planner and my personal experiences with biking and taking public transit. Through humor and easy to understand illustrations, I hoped to offer readers a fresh perspective on city dynamics and mobility choices, and to provoke thoughts that might otherwise go unnoticed
